Port Jeff?
Port Jeff, which used to be the home of every rider out there for meet and greets is now almost off limits to motorcyclists. I stopped by there sunday and it was VERY strange to see a handful of motorcycles parked parallel to the curb. two to a spot. I guess they won after all these years. They got rid of the bikes.

This development is very discouraging. I used to enjoy PJ as a destination and always spent money while there. First, they put us in a parking-ghetto; now, they're clamping down even further. Last time I visited, they wanted $7 for parking and there are signs up saying street-parking spaces must be used lengthwise (preventing too many bikes on one spot). If they don't want us and keep this up, eventually we'll go away -- which will impair the character we bring to the place.
