Riding season is here!

Well its finally here, the new riding season is upon us! Nest weekend is our annual spring Ba-Zing ride which will take us this year back to state college, Pa., where we last visited 3 years ago. That was a great town that had a great bit of excitement with a tuner car show going on at the time. Sadly, it's not there this year. I woudl havce liked to have checked out some of the action. Butr next weekend should be great I'm really looking forward to hanging out with my LIME buddies! See you all there!

back from the EoS

Had a great time at the EoS and I want to thank everyone who showed up and stayed. The riding and the laughs were great. As usual it all went too fast, but that's the sign of a great weekend I guess.! Thanks all!

Port Jeff?

Port Jeff, which used to be the home of every rider out there for meet and greets is now almost off limits to motorcyclists. I stopped by there sunday and it was VERY strange to see a handful of motorcycles parked parallel to the curb. two to a spot. I guess they won after all these years. They got rid of the bikes.

New Suzuki

Headed out to see Catfish on Monday with my son and picked up his other DR650. My son is learning how to ride with George and Diane and I figured it was time to get him a bike so he can practice a bit around here.

The bike was in great shape and I rode it home with an old plate that I happened to have laying around. Registered it yesterday and now he is all set.

Thanks to Catfish for a great buy. Looking forward to riding with you guys and my son this fall!

Lake George

I rode up to Lake George this past holiday-weekend with my wife Robin. We were on the luxurious BMW K1200LT touring-machine. That bike makes 240 miles feel easy.

Lake George is nice when all those bikers aren't around :-)

Seriously, it was fun to visit the touristy village where we saw a guy who'd bolted a full-size skeleton, dressed in pirate garb, to his pillion-seat. I've got pictures, if you're curious.

Bolton Landing had a free music festival going on and fireworks at night. The crowd there was more mature than the LG visitors.

We had a great BBQ meal at Barnsiders Smokehouse, just south of LG on Route 9 (http://www.barnsider.com/). I recommend the good food and casual atmosphere.

With perfect weather, and scenic area to ride through, this trip was terrific!

First Blog!

This is the first Blog on this site, so I'm not going to talk long here. I was at a fun bike related BBQ yesterday. Rode there. Saw friends. There done.
